Lalena Herder Customs intends this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use keyboards, screen readers, or the “reduce motion” setting on their device.

What we built for

• Skip link to the main content.
• Text and brass on the dark ground measured to WCAG AA or better (body ink 12.94:1, brass 7.73:1, muted 7.52:1 against #1c1917).
• No pure white type. Focus rings on controls.
• Images have descriptions of the actual rooms.
• The work gallery is an accordion on a wide screen, a swipe strip on a phone, and a static grid when the system asks for reduced motion. The photos stay. The motion stops.
• The hero parallax and the cleaning-photo drift turn off under reduced motion and on small screens.
• Form errors are tied to the field they belong to. Phone is optional.

Known limits

This is a preview. Contrast and motion were computed and coded; they have not yet been walked with a screen reader in every browser. If something is in the way of using the page, tell us.
